I have come to conclusion that vandalism is a great channel for anger management following my earlier outburst. It does make me feel much better.

    Ffffffuuuuuu

My apologies for the disturbance and the false sense of curiosity that brings you here, I'm currently experiencing the physical effects that includes increased heart rate, blood pressure, and levels of adrenaline and noradrenaline that normal people would call "Anger". The emotion is visible and manifested in my facial expressions, body language, physiological responses, and hopefully (soon) in public acts of aggression. Humans and non-human animals for example make loud sounds, attempt to look physically larger, bare their teeth, and stare, i myself will most likely implement it with the correct trigger.

    Short story, I'm fucking mad.

This has been a long time battle for blogger who monetize their blog, and these bloggers who keep their blog "clean". Some people think that blogs are supposed to be independent and personal. I second this.

The real problem actually relies on Paid Reviews. A lot of of blogs are being paid by brand owners to write good stuff (with a positive tone) about their brand/product, which makes the independence factor obsolete. When people are paying you to write good stuff, no matter how suck the product is you will still recommend it to your friend positively, which is very-very misleading. This is a concern.

Now please don't get me wrong, I'm not standing against bloggers monetizing their blog. I do just that, but not using Paid Reviews. Instead, i used a slightly different model. This model of mine is less appealing for brand owners, but it keeps my reputation as an independent blogger.

So, when a brand is paying me to write stuff about their brand/product i always give them a warning about my transparency with my friends who reads my blog. Brand owner can pay me to write about their product, but i WILL STILL write about what i think. When it's good, I'll say its good. When it sucks, I'll write about why it sucks and give additional advice/suggestion for the brand's improvement. And in the end of that specific post, i will put a disclosure telling my friends that I'm getting paid to write this post but as they can see i still use common sense and be objective about the product.

I'm not saying that every bloggers should go this way, but I'm just saying the reasons why i choose this path of monetizing my blog. And not to disappoint you, but when i saw a couple of new bloggers starts blogging expecting for money, most of them fail big time in less than 6 months. But that's just me, how about you?

At Aulia Masna's presentation at Barcamp Indonesia today. An interesting point of view by Aulia, people tend to make a very-very cool and impressive slides for their presentation and also put a lot of information while they're at it.

The real point is, as Aulia said, you make people wanting for more so don't give everything on your presentation as you might as well send your audience the slides without you doing the presentation. So make sure you can give adequate amount of information for your audience, but not let the slides take over the presentation.

Cool presentation indeed by Aulia Masna.

These are 3 out of many pictures taken by Rene Kok, Erik Somers, and Louis Zweers in Indonesia during the post declaration of independence from 1945 - 1949. It shows explicitly how the Dutch soldiers torture innocent people, peasants that doesn't know anything about holding a gun or combat.

The emotional visualization of nationalism, wouldn't you say?
